Our programs will be offered free or on a sliding scale based on ability to pay. No one will be turned away for inability to pay. Gifts from supporters are what make that possible.

A steady monthly gift lets us plan ahead for feed, care, and programs. Choose a tier to set up your monthly gift.
Your monthly gift is charged to your payment method on the same day each month and continues until you cancel. There is no minimum number of payments and no cancellation fee. You can change the amount or cancel at any time from your account online, by emailing hello@savedbythesaddle.org, or by writing to us at the address below. Cancellation takes effect before your next scheduled charge. We email a confirmation with these terms after your first gift.

Horse Care & Veterinary
Feed, farrier work, routine and emergency veterinary care, and the daily cost of keeping a horse well.
Program Delivery
Running a cohort from the first day to the last: session materials, equipment, and the time it takes to do it properly.
Staff & Training
Qualified instructors and handlers, background checks, and ongoing training in horse handling and safeguarding.
Facility Maintenance
Safe fencing, footing, shelter and tack for the Foundation programs and the horses in our own care. Donations are not used to improve or maintain privately owned property.
Administration
Insurance, compliance, and the record keeping a 501(c)(3) is required to do.
We are newly formed, so there is no financial year to report on yet. We will publish annual financial reports and make our Form 990 available once our first filing is complete.
Tax-Deductible Giving
Donations are received by Saved by the Saddle, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation at 2152 Olympic Way, Daly City, CA 94015, EIN 41-3846131, registered with the California Attorney General Registry of Charities and Fundraisers. We are exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and from California tax under Revenue and Taxation Code Section 23701d. Gifts fund horse rescue and rehabilitation, ground-based horsemanship programs for youth and veterans, staff and volunteer training, safety, and administration. Because you receive no goods or services in exchange, 100% of your gift is deductible as a charitable contribution under both federal and California law. Information about our revenues and expenses, including administration and fundraising costs, is available on request by contacting us at the address above, and we will provide it within seven days. Our programs are educational and experiential. They are not medical, psychological or physical therapy, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed health professional.
