Help us host 40 veterans for Fleet Week.

On Tuesday, October 6, Saved by the Saddle is hosting 40 veterans at the barn for trail rides, horsemanship clinics, and lunch. Sponsored by The American Legion, Lucky Supermarkets, and Ocean View Stables. We need a crew to make the day run.

Where we need hands

  • Cooking lunch for the group
  • Food prep and serving
  • Horse care through the day
  • Horse prep: grooming and tacking up for the rides

Tell us where you would like to help when you sign up. We confirm roles and arrival times the week before.

Before you come

  • Closed-toe shoes or boots. No sandals, no exceptions.
  • Long pants, clothes that can get dirty, a layer, and water.
  • Everyone working around the horses signs a release waiver at check-in.
  • Ages 16 and 17 are welcome with a parent or guardian consent form.
